Put simply, our values compel us to strive for perfection at all times whilst putting the health and well-being of our clients, partners and customers first. They also speak to the responsibility we have to our employees, to the communities in which we live and work, the world community, and to our shareholders.

Our values are a blueprint for long-term growth and sustainability that’s as relevant today as when they were first uttered: Henry John Love, former chairman from 1932 to 1963, expressed these values himself in a Credo in 1942, which he read out again at his valedictory speech before the merger of Lovett, Lowd & Love and Blackwell & Partners in the early 1960s.

That Credo – only slightly modernized – forms the bedrock of the beliefs we hold today. But our values are more than a belief system. They are also how we make money. The fact that Blackwell & Love is the biggest company on the planet tells you everything you need to know about how important it is to marry belief in purity of thought and spirit - with the human need for purity of body.
